SCORNED Standing UP.

  • Eddy Day #2.

Not much to report today, except for these two wonderful excerpts:

(1.) We were on our way to the locker room to change for the pool today. Eddy was strayed out on the outskirts of the group. I ask Eddy, “Hey Eddy are you going to go swimming?” He then grabs his towel puts it on his head like a hooded cape and exclaims, “I’m Little Red Riding Hood!” I got my answer apparently.

(2.) In the afternoon today we took his group to go play kickball. We told him, while his team is on offense mind you, that when the ball is kicked to run from first to second base. So naturally when his team goes on defense Eddy runs over to go play first base. He stands on first base. When the ball is kicked he runs to go play second, on second base. The ball is kicked again and he runs to play third, on (you guessed it) third base. He thinks he’s sly. He thinks that if he gets home his team gets a run even though he’s on defense.

The kid is a bona-fide genius. He impresses me more and more.
