These kids are awesome.
It’s quiet. It’s weird.
I’ve already been insulted on my Christmas sweater…
Friday I have to perform 10-15 minutes of stand-up for the faculty at the Holiday party, I hope I keep my job.
(Fingers crossed.)
Yesterday I had another classic run-in with a student.
Its a Biology class. There are 24 Sophomores in there. I walk in. I’m wearing a mock-turtleneck Eddie Bauer sweater with a huge reindeer on it. Like a giant bullseye for the kids to just let it rip on how terrible it is. This one girl looks up to me, gives the up and down looksy and declares: “Mistah, you are way too cute to wearing dat sweatah. Don’t take this the wrong way but, um, you dress way too geeky for your looks, you could be a model or sometin’.”
Great. I’m awaiting the lawsuit.
